About Us
History
New Life Connection was formed in 1997 and was originally created as a transitional home for women. The desire to expand its mission and services came about as a way to assist women whose needs far exceeded housing. As of January 1, 2018, there are over 2,900 women incarcerated in North Carolina. Women are the fastest growing group of incarcerated individuals in the world. When women are incarcerated, it not only disrupts the parent-child relationship, it redefines networks of support. New Life Connection will facilitate the coordination of community partners, state agencies and other reentry faith based leaders for the purpose of creating a strategic and systematic delivery of services.
Vision
Provide holistic supportive services to justice-involved individuals to reduce recidivism.
Mission
To empower and equip our clients with resources to increase sustainability and self-sufficiency.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…..
II Corinthians 5:17
