New Life Connection will seek to fulfill its objectives through the following:

  • Information sharing among organizations and groups implementing reentry initiatives.
  • Support local efforts in advancing public safety.
  • Utilize proven best practices in servicing the formally incarcerated.
  • Community capacity building through grant making, technical assistance, and training.
  • Advocate and inform policy making and systematic reform that promotes the successful reintegration of this population.
  • Inclusion and engagement of formerly incarcerated individuals to inform the planning, implementation and delivery of transitional services.

That lady that works with New Life was hilarious, but mostly she was straightforward and I like that.  She told me she could see through my wall and that I could be real with her.  She didn’t say wall but I don’t want to say what she really said.
